"With a Flourish" LIVE
The Flourishing Artist Program Overview & Philosophy
"With a Flourish" is a one and a half hour seminar for artists of all disciplines at every level of their career, followed by a social/networking hour with other artists. A prerequisite for the full Flourishing Artist program, this seminar starts the conversation about what flourishing means in the world... and to you personally.
"Living creatively—continually and stubbornly bringing forth the jewels that are hidden within you—is a fine art, in and of itself." —Elizabeth Gilbert, Big Magic
In the seminars, we explore the traditional paths to happiness—achievement, positivity, engagement, meaning, vitality and relationships—through the dual lenses of living creatively and applying positive psychology.
Understanding the science behind what helps us flourish, above and beyond the survival level, can help us excel at the art of living, finding greater joy and meaning in our creative work.
Regardless of whether you enroll in the 3-month series, you will find inspiration and motivation for positive change that comes easily and with excitement. One attendee exclaimed, "I thought about it for weeks!" All who attend are welcome to join us for all future social/networking hours, guest speakers and convivia. Come and explore what flourishing means, what an artist is, and what your life as a flourishing artist could look like.
The LIVE class takes place at The Bellevue Club in Oakland, California, and includes a social/networking hour afterwards with other creatives. Price includes Prosecco or soda.
